What are the requirements to receive the referral bonus?
The requirements for the cash reward are as follows:
  • Referrer: provide City Index details of the referred friend via the online form. The referred friend must then open a City Index account, be approved as a Professional client and execute the minimum trades as detailed below.
  • Referred friend: open a City Index account, be approved as a Professional client and fund with a minimum of AUD $5,000 to meet these trading requirements: make 10 equity CFD Trades (excluding US shares) or cryptocurrency CFD Trades to a notional value of USD $2,500,000 and must have a minimum of AUD$5,000 deposit. Alternatively, make at least 10 open trade on FX, indices, bonds, commodities, metals, interest rates or options to a minimum notional value of USD $30,000,000 and have a minimum of AUD$5,000 deposit.
When will cash rewards be credited to my account?
You will receive the bonus into your accounts within the first three (3) weeks of the calendar month following the month in which the Trading Requirement is satisfied.
How long do the clients I refer have to meet the qualifying criteria? ?
The Trading Requirement must be satisfied by the Referred Friend within 90 days after the Referred Friend opens a City Index Professional account.
Can cash rewards be withdrawn?
Yes, cash rewards can be used for trading or withdrawn from your account.
How many people can I refer?
You can refer up to a maximum of 5 clients per month.
